‘Isn't it great to be able to buy clothing by your favourate label and be sure that it is produced in a way friendly to nature and humans?’
Fair clothing
KIK-KID has joined MADE-BY, an organisation that helps fashion brands to produce their products with consideration for nature as well as the well-being of workers in the whole chain of production. MADE-BY investigates the origin of resources for KIK-KID clothing and garments and studies the situation at the ateleirs. If necessary, they help to find cloth made of organically produced cotton or fibre.

Step by step
With the MADE-BY process, customers can get insight in the whole chain of production of the connected brands. A growing number of models and a growing part of the collections by KIK-KID are inspected by MADE-BY and have been rewarded the MADE-BY label. That means these clothes are produced with respect for mature and workers.
Ineke Grovenstein, KIK-KID manager and owner:
MADE-BY's approach appeals to me because everything you do, no matter how tiny, is of influence. In the long run, I would like to produce everything by KIK-KID in accordance with the guidelines of MADE-BY. We will begin step by step. Starting the winter collection 2009, we will be using biologically produced cotton. We take steps to make our jerseys from biologically produced resources.”
